Article 1 Scope of Application
"The 'Accommodation Policy' and 'Terms and Conditions' are applicable to all individuals who make bookings and accommodations through this website."

Article 2 Formation of Accommodation Contract
By successfully completing the room reservation process on our website and receiving the confirmation email, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to comply with the accommodation policies, the consent form for personal data usage, and other stipulations outlined on this website.

The prices on this website may vary due to daily promotional rates and exchange rates. Please rely on the price shown at the time of payment confirmation, and be sure to reconfirm the price before making the payment.

Please note that if you modify any condition including but not limited to check-in day, check-out day, number of people, type of room, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Changes to reservations made through this system cannot be changed. If you need to modify your reservation, please cancel the existing one and proceed to create a new reservation. *Please be aware that rebooking may not be possible if there are no vacancies for your preferred conditions.


Article 3 Payment Regulations
You can only pay using your own credit-card. If any information you provide is untrue, you need to take all liability by yourself, and we have the right to reject your usage of the website and the hotel.

When you confirm your reservation on this website, your payment information will be transmitted to your credit card company through 'KOMOJU' for payment processing. However, each credit card company has different settlement and payment dates. For detailed information such as payment dates, exchange rate calculations, and charges for handling fees, please inquire with your credit card company.

Refunds, The refund “data” will be sent to your credit card company through "KOMOJU" and processed according to your credit card company policies.


Article 4 Expense Items
If you plan to exceed the specified occupancy limit for your reserved room type, additional charges will apply depending on your room type/private lodging. For example: Private Lodging price is for 3 people. For each additional person after, there is an extra fee of 10,000 Japanese Yen and Kyoto City Accommodation Tax of 200 Japanese Yen will be incurred.

The Kyoto city accommodation price fee of 200 yen per person/ per night cannot be adjusted and will be paid towards the Kyoto city government in the final pricing.

If there is any damage to the property, facilities, etc., in this guesthouse, compensation must be made according to the corresponding value

If additional individuals stay overnight without paying the supplementary guest fee, a penalty of 50,000 yen per night will be assessed.

Children that are 3 years old and older are considered as an adult and will be charged as an adult.

There is a 10% consumption tax that is not included in the accommodation fee. 

If the room key is lost and not recovered by checkout time, a fee of JPY 2,000 will be charged to replace it.


Article 5 Additional Expense Items
A cleaning fee of 10,000 yen will be charged if you requested additional cleaning service (Kamihiranocho 455−7 location only).

Guests who book plans that include breakfast or other additional services will be charged for those services, even if they do not use them.


Article 6 Check-In and Check-Out Guidelines
The check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. We will charge 8,000 Japanese yen for every hour if you check-out late and
the maximum limit is 3 hours; any duration exceeding this threshold, we reserve the right to ask/remove you from the
premises. 


Article 7 Termination or Rescission of Contract for Guests
Termination or Rescission of Contract for GuestsIf you would like to cancel the reservation, please notify us three days
before your check-in day. If it is overdue, we will charge the full amount of your reservation from your credit card.
This policy also applies to cancellations made for specific dates within your entire reservation.

(a)Cancellation is free of charge 3 days prior to the date of arrival.
(b)Except for the aforementioned, the remaining amounts will be collected in the following manner:

1.No notice: 100% of the total amount (including taxes and all other charges)
2.Same day: 100% of the total amount (including taxes and all other charges)
3.1 day before: 70% of the total guest room charge (excluding taxes and fees)
4.2 days before: 50% of the total guest room charge (excluding taxes and fees)
5.if there is no contact 3 hours after expected arrival time, it may be counted as a no-notice. Please let us know immediately if there are any changes to your itinerary.        



Article 8 Termination or Rescission of Contract by Ginnoyado Corporation
If we find that you have engaged in the following inappropriate behavior or similar behavior, we reserve the right to refuse your use of our services.

(a) When you have engaged in or are likely to engage in behavior that violates the law or public morals.
(b) When you are a member of or associated with a violent gang.
(c) When you are infected with a contagious disease.
(d) When you provide incorrect information or check-in under someone else's name.
(e) When your actions, due to intoxication or otherwise, impact the staff, neighbors, or other guests of this accommodation.
(f) When you have used open flames for heating or cooking in guest rooms, hallways, or any other shared spaces.
(g) When you explicitly violate the policies of this accommodation.

In the event of a natural disaster, war, severe contagious disease, or other force majeure events, causing the accommodation facility to be unable to provide accommodation services as scheduled.

If this hotel terminates the accommodation contract with you in accordance with the relevant provisions of this article in advance, we will refund you the full accommodation fee. However, this does not apply if you have caused damage to this hotel.


Article 9 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
When you confirm the reservation, we will obtain your personal information for the purpose including but not limited to: booking accommodations, providing accommodations, collecting fees, and other related matters. If you reserve a room,  we will be able to collect, process, store, and utilize your personal data in accordance with the "Law Concerning the Protection of Personal Information", and to confirm your identity.

The collection including, but not limited to; your name, date of birth, gender, nationality, ID card number, passport number, address, telephone number, e-mail address, photo, and so on.

Guests must provide a scanned copy or photocopy of their passport and register their nationality, passport number, port of entry, immigration date, and any other identification details.

If there are any matters not covered in this consent form, they will be handled in accordance with the 'Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

By using our Wi-Fi (service network), customers acknowledge and accept the risk of any potential security breaches. The hotel/guest house is not responsible for any hacking incidents or issues related to customers' electronic devices (such as laptops, tablets, phones, etc.).


Article 10 Disclaimer
We take no responsibility for any valuables left in the accommodations and public area. Please keep your valuables in a safe place.

Luggage service is only available at the main location; we do not offer luggage delivery.

Guests use the hotel/guesthouse's computer networks at their own risk. Service may be interrupted or terminated without prior notice due to system failures or other issues. The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such disruptions.

If a guest uses the hotel/guesthouse’s computer networks inappropriately, causing or having caused damage, the hotel/guesthouse reserves the right to require the guest to immediately stop using the network and to compensate for any resulting damages.

If damage occurs due to factors beyond our control, such as acts of nature, it is not associated with our guesthouse/hotel.

If you experience any illness or injury during your stay or after checking out, unrelated to reasons attributable to this hotel/guesthouse, it is not the responsibility of this guesthouse/hotel.

If a guest’s belongings are found after check-out and ownership is verified, the hotel/guesthouse will contact the owner and request further instructions. If no instructions are received from the owner or ownership cannot be confirmed, the hotel/guesthouse will retain the item for 14 days, including the day it was found, after which it will be reported to the nearest police station.

Guestrooms may be accessed on days other than scheduled cleaning for purposes such as maintenance, legal inspections, or emergencies.


Article 11 Contract Language
This accommodation policy is written in English. In case of any inconsistencies between the Chinese and Japanese translations, the English version will take precedence.

Article 12 Disputes
In the event of any legal disputes arising from this contract, Japanese law shall be the governing law, and the first-instance court with jurisdiction shall be the court in the location of this accommodation.
